No! AIDS 2020 has gone virtual. Out of care and safety for our attendees as well as mandates from the state and federal level, the conference has now moved entirely online.

When is AIDS 2020?

AIDS 2020 begins on Monday, July 6 and will end on Friday, July 10, 2020.

Can I still register for AIDS 2020?

Registration is still available for the online conference and attendees who have registered will have 24 access and full flexibility to attend sessions and participate in workshops. What is the theme for AIDS 2020?

The theme for 2020 is Resilience. The national and global health landscape has changed drastically and with the looming COVID-19 pandemic, we are all faced with new and unique challenges. According to the conference website,

“As the 23rd International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2020) approaches, we must unite to face the challenges of a deteriorating human rights climate, repressive and punitive national laws in many countries across the globe, increasing xenophobia and social exclusion, and the widening gap between those with and without access to health services. We must use this moment to highlight our successes and address the gaps in the treatment, prevention and care paradigms to demonstrate the strength of our resilience.”
